McMinn Meigs Assist Program- Rent, Utility, and Food Assistance for those who have experienced an unexpected occurrence that caused them to fall behind.
Every year, United Way of McMinn & Meigs Counties collects donated school supplies at Wal-Mart, Old National Bank (Etowah and the Main Branch in Athens), Keith Memorial United Methodist Church, Denso, L & N Depot Museum Etowah, and the Athens Chamber of Commerce. These supplies are given to local schools, which distribute them to students who need them.
