The United Way of McMinn and Meigs Counties, Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, and McMinn County Education Foundation come together at the beginning of each school year to gather donations of school supplies for each of the three school systems in McMinn County. The supplies benefit those students who do not have the necessary supplies for a successful school year.
